Experimenting with different lighting effects and blending modes, mostly trying to create a consistent colour theme for the pieces. This time I decided to do a Fan Illustration of Loki Prime. Doing some kind of space magic?

Another Fan Illustration. This is another assignment for the Design and Illustration course at 3dsense. For this assignment specifically we had to compose an image that had a distinctly dynamic pose. In addition to this prerequisite, I decided to include a three point lighting setup. You can hopefully see it in the green glow from the sword, the light from the lava and a magical white light from the front of the subject (just roll with it :P).Anyway here is the deviantart link if you are more active on that site instead of tumblr.

Here is some lighting practice in the form of YANG from rwby. I was looking to use and adapt the lighting concepts I have learnt at 3dsense when painting characters. This is another a redraw of this image!I think I have improved! Do you?

Been a while! Here is an assignment I did for our basic rendering class at 3dsense. I took inspiration from imagery found in Dark Souls for the character and the surrounding.I went with the campfire and ghost lamp to create a contrasting effect between the orange and blue. Thanks for looking! Enjoy!

My two point perspective assignment at 3dsense.
I liked what I had designed enough to go ahead and fully paint it. I’m pretty happy with the result, but make no mistake there is still tons of places I know I can improve on!
